5th meeting- Estonia. The fifth day.

The last day started with everyone coming to Saku. Firstly we visited the elementary school. Other students really liked the art that was on the walls and were amazed how beautiful the school was. Some even said that they were jealous. B ecause we didn’t want to be late we had to end the tour a little earlier than planned. We walked through Saku to the municipality hall where we had a tour and a presentation. Some of the students said the presentation was really boring but others said that it was interesting how different Saku is from their home town. When everyone were ready we went to the high school. There we had a quick tour. Some of the quests said that it didn’t even look like a school and it is very fancy. Students were also amazed how the school is so clean from the inside. In the evening some of the students met up to go to trampoline park. Others went shopping at the same time. Finally everyone met up in front of the hotel and we all went to eat last dinner together. We woke up really early. The bus was at the hotel 6.45, some people had just woke up 10 minutes earlier. We went to Helsinki. When we arrived our guide Piret showed us old town and the most important places. At the end of the tour we reached to the library (the library where we went has won the award being the worlds best library). After that we had free time. At first we all went to eat in Pizza Hut. When we were full, most of us decided to go to the zoo, which is located on the island. The zoo was kind of disappointing because most of the animals were a sleep or not outside. Before everyone gathered, some also did the obligatory shopping tour in Helsinki shops. On the way back with the ship everyone was tired because we had very exhausting day in Helsinki, but it seemed that our guests liked the trip. Written by Rasmus Loorpuu

The third day started in hotel conference room. There each country gave a presentation about “Port activities and utilization" and based of these presentations we had a workshop. We had to list differences and similarities in port of each country. After that we went and visited the Tallinn Seaplane Harbour. There we had the opportunity to go inside an old submarine. After visiting the museum, we all were so hungry that went to Vapiano to eat together. The teachers had reserved for us a 3-hour time in the Kuulsaal where we could all play bowling and billiards. After bowling some of the students went shopping together. They also ate Hesburger together and walked back to hotel through old town. Written by Rasmus Loorpuu

The second day started with a bus ride to Rakvere. On the bus we had a Quizizz game about the museum that we visited a day before. In Rakvere we visited the Medieval Castle. For lunch we had punch mash (potato and pearl barley porridge) with chicken and for dessert we had bread-soup. Other students didn’t really like the lunch because it looked and tasted weird however, some teachers liked dessert. After that we visited Viru Bog and Jägala Waterfall. The guests liked the nature and noticed that Estonia is so flat. In the evening some of the students met up again and walked to the city hall. After that they had a little walk around the city and finally ended the night with some billiards. https://quizizz.com/admin/quiz/62cd4ada7f3755001d3784fe?source=quiz_page ...

The first day started with a bus ride to the hotel where we met up with our guests. Together we went to visit the Port of Tallinn. There we had a lecture and tour in the cruise area. After that we went to the museum where students could look at exhibitions and spend time with others. We all met up in front of the museum, divided all the students into three groups and all the Estonian students gave tours of old town. In the evening we had a small party with lots of different traditional food and drinks. The most talked about food was kama because some student liked it and some hated it. We also had group activities and games to get to know each other better. People really enjoyed it and had lots of fun. Written by Rasmus Loorpuu
