4th meeting- Greece Kefalonia. The second day.

On May 16 we had the pleasure of visiting the school where the Greek students study. Where we were greeted by the headmaster of the school.

After that the Greek students gave us a tour of the school building and the classrooms. Then we had a lecture about the biology and math of Caretta caretta.

After which we made our own presentations on the topic “Our port is an ecosystem” that were put together before the trip. When we left the school after the presentations we went to have lunch all together.

Finished with lunch we had time for ourselves and we got to go and experience the city of Argostoli and its beaches.

At about 8 pm all participants went on a walk around the city to see its most beautiful sights that the city had to offer. At the end of the walk we had time to go find ourselves some food and all participating students got to enjoy the evening together.

On the fourth day, we visited the island of Korčula. The day started with a bus ride that lasted a few hours, continued by a short boat ride to the port next to the old town of Korčula. We received a tour around the old town. The guide thoroughly explained the history of Korčula (both the town and the island) and in the end, she taught us how to play an old board game. We played it with gummy bears and chocolates, the chocolate team won. We had lunch at a restaurant in the mall located outside the old town of Korčula. 3rd meeting- Croatia. The third day.

  Day started with a bus ride to Dubrovnik, which took about 2 hours. We got a tour around the city with a local guide. After that we had some free time and went shopping for souvenirs. The evening was spent with other countries eating dinner. We were all rather tired as we walked a lot today. Written by Diandra
