Online meeting (December 2020)

 




On 16th of December 2020 another meeting of our project took place. As Covid- 19 virus had taken over the world, the meeting was held via internet.

Students of all participating countries, as well as teachers, presented short overview about Christmas traditions of their countries. It was interesting to hear about how different the traditions are, but in the same time we have some similarities too. This meeting gave us the great opportunity to learn new things about our countries and Christmas in different parts of the world.

After presentations students talked about how the Corona virus has affected their lives. The corona restrictions in different countries varied greatly.

It was nice to see our colleagues and friends!

3rd meeting- Croatia. The fourth day.

On the fourth day, we visited the island of Korčula. The day started with a bus ride that lasted a few hours, continued by a short boat ride to the port next to the old town of Korčula. We received a tour around the old town. The guide thoroughly explained the history of Korčula (both the town and the island) and in the end, she taught us how to play an old board game. We played it with gummy bears and chocolates, the chocolate team won. We had lunch at a restaurant in the mall located outside the old town of Korčula. 3rd meeting- Croatia. The third day.

  Day started with a bus ride to Dubrovnik, which took about 2 hours. We got a tour around the city with a local guide. After that we had some free time and went shopping for souvenirs. The evening was spent with other countries eating dinner. We were all rather tired as we walked a lot today. Written by Diandra
