4th meeting- Greece Kefalonia. The third day.

 On Wednesday, 18th of May, we visited the “Merchant Marine Academy”.

Before that we tested the water’s temperature and nitrate content.

Then we walked besides the sea and saw a water wheel.

At the academy we had a lecture about the academy and also the ports in Greece. After that the director of the academy showed us the simulations in the school. They were really interesting and some of us felt like they were literally on the ship.

Then we had free time and went to eat lunch and also to the Gradakia beach. That was a wonderful day and we had a good time with our friends.

On the fourth day, we visited the island of Korčula. The day started with a bus ride that lasted a few hours, continued by a short boat ride to the port next to the old town of Korčula. We received a tour around the old town. The guide thoroughly explained the history of Korčula (both the town and the island) and in the end, she taught us how to play an old board game. We played it with gummy bears and chocolates, the chocolate team won. We had lunch at a restaurant in the mall located outside the old town of Korčula. 3rd meeting- Croatia. The third day.

  Day started with a bus ride to Dubrovnik, which took about 2 hours. We got a tour around the city with a local guide. After that we had some free time and went shopping for souvenirs. The evening was spent with other countries eating dinner. We were all rather tired as we walked a lot today. Written by Diandra
